SPORTS FACILITIES

  • Basket Ball : The school has one national standard outdoor Basketball Court.
  • Volleyball Ball : The school also has one outdoor Volleyball Court for the practice of students. The students are given a chance to participate in all tournaments associated with the sport.
  • Skating : The school also has one outdoor Volleyball Court for the practice of students. The students are given a chance to participate in all tournaments associated with the sport.
  • Cricket : The school maintains a Cricket Ground and Cricket Practice nets with 2 cemented pitches.
  • Yoga : Yoga is an age-old art but is relevant in present times more than ever before. School going students are too young but that does not mean they are spared from the stresses and pressures of life. To make them well versed with various yog asanas the school provides them regular practice of yoga.
  • Table Tennis : A multipurpose hall houses the entire setup of a range of indoor activities including Table Tennis, Chess, Carom etc.
  • Track & Field : The school also provides facility of several track & Field events like 20 m/ 50 m/ 100 m/ 400 m relay/ Shotput/ Javelin throw/Discus throw/ Long Jump/ High Jump etc.

LABS AND LIBRARY

COMPUTER LAB
With computer education being an essential part of modern day living, it has become the priority of the school to make students and teachers computer literate. The school has a Computer lab with 40 computers to equip the staff & students. Special courses on animation, graphic designing etc. apart from regular syllabus are imparted. The labs maintain 1:1 student computer ratio. It not only helps students to learn but also guide them how to utilize technology effectively to attain best result

SCIENCE LABS
The school has huge, well equipped Biology, Physics and Chemistry Labs. The Labs with modern amenities and quality specimens and models open up a world of knowledge for children to observe, experiment and comprehend. Interesting projects help sustain and satisfy the curiosity of the budding scientists. ‘Learning by Doing’ remains the motto

Digital Classroom
Classrooms are laced with digital e-learning interactive boards. In these Digital classrooms a "Technology-enabled" learning environment is created where student learning and interaction with the teacher and peers is fully supported through strategic use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The teachers empower the students using Modern ICT tools. All the teachers at Shemford are technically trained to help the students to learn with innovative techniques so that they can cope with the new age of science and technology. These Digital Classroom benefit the students and help the students and teachers in developing skills such as critical thinking, creativity and communication

Art & Craft Room
A unique feature of the school, the Art & Craft Room, provides ample opportunities for Drawing, Painting and Crafts. The Art Room is a creative corner which is decorated with the students' drawings, paintings and other craft work

Transport Facility

To assure safe & secure travel, Shemford Futuristic School has its own fleet of buses designed as per standards and manned by trained & competent drivers. The Transport Service (optional) is managed by the transport incharge and a separate transport fee is charged for this. For surveillance and monitoring, a transport attendant is on board throughout the travel. To ensure efficiency in service, & communication in case of emergencies, mobile phones have been provided in all the buses. Apart from ensuring safety norms, all staff on the bus is well trained in first-aid and emergency management.

GUIDELINES

General GuideLines

  • Kindly check the pick-up and drop-off points displayed in the office before availing the transport facility.
  • The buses will not be going in by-lanes.
  • Students are not allowed to provide different pick-up and drop-off points. They are also not allowed to change their pick up/drop points temporarily for any reason.
  • If the residence address changes mid-year, please note that the transport facility can continue only for the existing points. No new points/routes will be created
  • The transport fee has to be paid in four installments. Kindly refer to the fee structure for further details.
  • Parents need to follow the timetable given by the transport authority and be available 5 minutes before the scheduled time at the pick-up/drop point to supervise the child.
  • Parents are responsible for supervising their children to /from their designated pick-up/ drop-off point until they board or alight from the vehicle. This may involve crossing roadsc.
